Ok Meizu, seriously, with your M7 announced a week after the iPod touch and your CEO J.Wong just posting these new interface shots of the M8 to your user forum, how can we or any straight taking rag not call you for what you are: a brazen Chinese Apple cloning machine? We understand that any full-screen, touchscreen phone or DAP will look pretty similar given the limited panel sizes available to manufactures. The possibilities with the user interface are however, infinite. We already know that you have a half dozen or so iPhones in-house so please, just admit to your “inspiration.” No more weightless claims that your design appeared four days before the iPhone unveiling. You’re not fooling anyone.

..pack is constructed of wood, plastic, wire, and plumbing fixtures and painted a flat black. It is held together using the great glue Goop! and lots of hidden screws to keep it in place. The lower center cyclotron with the 4 red circles is hollow to put lights in as well as the blue windowed box up in the upper left corner. The gun also has a hollowed out section which has electronics installed in it. A red LED bar is included and was working but must have been unhooked at one point

Researchers from the University of British Columbia have created new surgical robots that are being tested on a life-sized version of “Operation”. Video after the jump.

Second-year students will work in teams and create prototype “surgeons”. The goal will be to see which robot can remove the most metal parts in two minutes. Of course, they have to be careful not to remove the wrong part and just like the classic game, try not to bump the sides of the “incisions”

Aside from the intense multiplayer mode, Halo 3 also features a nifty video editor, which, according to IGN, is “a true marvel and unlike anything we’ve ever seen in a console game.” Video after the break. Click here for more pictures.

The last time I was truly impressed by a multiplayer feature, it was Bungie’s stat-tracking features in Halo 2. They’ve done it again. The video editor is awesome. And the best part is that you can also save videos from the campaign and use the editor in the exact same way. You’ll experience the video editor first hand on September 25 when you and everyone you know buys Halo 3

The Corvette ZR1 boasts a supercharged 6.2L V8 engine that generates 650hp, rocketing it from 0-60mph in only 3.4-seconds. Video after the break.

Near the end of the video we do get one clip of the ZR1 accelerating onto a highway, which is the closest we get to a full on aural assault from the engine. Only a couple of months remain until we expect the production car to be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show in January

After Burner II is basically “an arcade-style flight game released by Sega in 1987.” ScrewAttack takes a look back at this title after the jump.

In the game, you fly a F-14 Tomcat jet fighter, gunning down enemies while avoiding incoming fire. Like Out Run, another Sega arcade game, After Burner II came in several versions, the most famous being a large, servo actuated, sit-down cabinet which resembled a cockpit and moved according to the motion of the plane

Most iPod engravings are boring, these are not, or so we think. To start, we have a custom Tetris-inspired engraving, on a lime green iPod Nano. Click here for more.
